Hey,

Can’t believe you are in Africa…I’m really proud of what you are doing.

Life has been interesting since the last time we talked…Emily’s wedding I believe! I graduated from Southwestern in 08 and started teaching High School history and Math down in South central kansas. This coming year I have decided to go back to school. I have gotten the opportunity to get my masters and help coach softball at the college I graduated from.
Who knows what will come after that but I plan to start working on my Ph D.

When are you coming back to the states? I hope you are doing well and enjoying your life…it seems very busy:)

So, I looked them up and I think that they are unripe chili peppers. Apparently farmers use them to ward off Elephants.

What a fun story! You might try seeding them next time; usually all of the heat is in the seeds.
